How I Will Travel - Part 1

I started this post too late to finish it in time. So, this post might be a little messy.

How far is it from The Netherlands to Hungary or to Japan? That's how far my young nieces have been from home. I say "have been," because they're home again.

With so much ado about their return, I just had to write about travelling. More specifically about my wish to be with my beloved Cori, but first things first.

To All the Doubters Out There

I'll grant you that, as of the date I'm publishing this post, it's been a little over 6 years since Cori and I have been wanting to come together, and although we've made some progress, we're still having a hard time accomplishing it. However, please don't you think for a moment that my wish to be with my dearest girlfriend is fake! If you want me to prove that I'm honest about that, then tell me how and I would be happy to oblige. However, please keep in mind what I explained in my previous blog post!

ATTENTION! The following is just intended to get an idea of how things will go. No departure date has been determined as of the date I've published this post.

How I Imagine the Journey Going

I've been thinking about how to take everything along, but there has to be a way! I mean, I see the lady in the video below travelling alone and I've watched this video in which Marissa Meleske said that she travelled alone, could I be seeing a problem where one does not exist?

I've heard the advice to drink a lot, to help with jet lag, but with the flight expected to take 12 hours, how will I deal with excess fluid? I mean...I could go with a permanent catheter, but how am I going to empty my bag? I think I'll go with the advice that I've also heard to drink little to nothing.

The following is based on the video below. By the way, several of the links you'll see from this point on will be in Dutch, same as the video below.

I will be departing from Schiphol Airport. I will need their assistance for which I will need to make an appointment at least 48 hours in advance. I was concerned that I would need to opt out of an x-ray scan, but that is not shown in this video. Although this video is from 2015, I take that as a strong indication that x-ray scanning is not used by Schiphol Airport (at least, not for people).

That's it for this blog post. In the next one I will be covering my arrival in the U.S.A. Meanwhile, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, comments, or advice.

As always, I hope you enjoyed reading this blog post. If you have any questions or comments, then please let me know in the form down below.
